At the CF Senior Saturday June meeting we had the privilege of hosting Karen W. Currie, Ph.D., a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel and logistics expert with over three decades of federal service. Her extensive experience and insights were invaluable as we explored the theme of readiness in the face of life's unexpected challenges.

For our April CF Senior Saturday meeting, it was a pleasure to connect with everyone. We’re especially grateful to Melanie Cullen Schultz, author of Get It Together: Organize Your Records So Your Family Won’t Have To, for guiding us through a topic that is deeply personal, sometimes challenging, but always empowering: organizing our health and personal affairs for the future.

We were thrilled to welcome Nicholas Kelly MS, RD, LD as the guest speaker for May's CF Senior Saturday session. In a dynamic and personal presentation, Nick shared tools, mindset shifts, and practical techniques for building confidence in public speaking—especially when telling your own story.

Our March 2025 CF Senior Saturday meeting discussion focused on “Colorectal Cancer Awareness,” emphasizing the urgent need for proactive screening, strong self-advocacy, and community-wide education—especially as adults with CF live longer and face new health considerations.
